How I came to write Pim
People often ask how I came to write Pim. It seems like a thousand years since I discovered Pim, or that Pim
discovered me. Thankfully I kept detailed notes and saved photos from that time. While I can’t swear to the
absolute accuracy of what you are about to read, I have done my best to capture the essence of how Pim entered my life.
The WDA dealt with his guilt at sending Pim and Bim to such a hideous location by indulging in an extended lunch.
The WDA gave Pim and Bim their first job: to neutralize ground level radioactivity and airborne toxicity of an industrial misadventure.
On arrival at the 86th floor Pim and Bim were directed to a job dispensing agent who turned out to be the Well-Dressed Albatross.
Pim and Bim were directed to the 86th floor where the highest paying and most rewarding jobs were dispensed, they were told.
Passing through an urban industrial zone, Pim and Bim were possessed by ambition.
And Slim did NOT like the new face one little bit.
Despite her technical challenges, the practitioner did remarkable work on Slim and the WDA, restoring the latter back to his former self.
And as the Lagarta flailed and wailed at the pain induced by Gim’s severed tail, Gim came to understand the terrible strength of the weak.
