How I came to write Pim
People often ask how I came to write Pim. It seems like a thousand years since I discovered Pim, or that Pim
discovered me. Thankfully I kept detailed notes and saved photos from that time. While I can’t swear to the
absolute accuracy of what you are about to read, I have done my best to capture the essence of how Pim entered my life.
The WDA’s information about returning the hovercraft was similar to, but not quite identical with, what Slim had said.
Having located the tiki bar nearest the hovercraft, Slim gave the WDA a navigation system code for a place no one has ever been.
Before locating the WDA, Slim had gained some intriguing information from a representative of the hovercraft rental company.
And then, just as conversation at the tiki bar on the moon was waning, a heretofore unnoticed phone rang.
Slim moved silently along winding streets, at last entering a familiar cantina. For surely all paths eventually prove circular.

After days of travel, during which Slim reverted to normal proportions, Slim found a road which lead to a town.
On arrival they were happily surprised to find a tiki bar, though one woefully devoid of staff.
After months inside, with no witness but the sun, Slim’s expansion finally burst the bottle.
